POLAND: Group UFO[s] observation over Zory [July 2004]

Zory [woj.Slaskie], July 2004, Saturday, between 8 and 9 pm.

Numerous witnesses observed an unusual spectacle over Zory in July 2004. Two bright, rotating lights were seen. It seemed that they were in fact a single object engaged in rotating motion.
The sighting took place in Zory in July 2004 [on Saturday], at dusk [between 8 and 9 pm]. The witness heading with his family to a pub, was accosted by a astounded taxi driver who pointed at two yellow points of light located high in the western sky. One light was smaller than the other. They were positioned horizontally one to another, being brighter than stars. The witness at first didn't know what the driver meant but after some time he noticed that both points were in motion. They were maneuvering in a strange way, as if they were a single object engaged in rotating motion. On one occasion they were orientated horizontally, changing the pose in the following seconds to vertical. Then again they reached horizontal pose and so on. The driver showed them to the witness' neighbor and then to his younger daughter and her husband. The spectacle was also witnessed by a certain man who went out the shop along with his son and also by other people. The phenomena lasted for an hour. Being in a pub they occasionally examined the sky, witnessing the objects pose changes. In the final period of the sighting, the objects were posed one above another but they began dimming and then they finally disappeared. A local radio station [Radio Katowice] made a note of the sighing, putting forth a naive explanation about moving planets.

POLAND: UFO over Podwolina [31/05/04]

Podwolina n. Nisko [woj.Podkarpackie], May 31st 2004.

On May 31st 2004 a chance UFO object was photographed in Podwolina near Nisko in Podkarpackie wojewodztwo. The witnesses didn't see the object although they claimed that some "strange atmosphere" accompanied the alleged UFO appearance. The photo was taken with Sony DSC-P51 camera. We could see here so called LHS railway and the Przeworsk - Stalowa Wola line of Polish National Railway. The witness who took the photo was standing on an overpass. This location allows to perceive the right bank of the San river and the area of Zarzecze.The photo author and his companion could feel strange calmness that enveloped the area when he took the photo. That fact may be connected in some way with the object photographed.About 10 minutes after the photo taking both men saw several paraglide in the sky but the alleged UFO was suspended higher in the air than them so they dismissed the possibility that they could capture one of them. The object itself seems to be metallic and disc-shaped.

POLAND: Disc photographed in Rzeszow [4-5/05/04]

Rzeszow [woj.Podkarpackie], May 4th - 5th 2004.

A local newspaper recounted the story of Jakub Puszkarewicz who managed to capture a unusual object over the center of the capital city of Podkarpackie wojewodztwo at night early May night.Jakub Puszkarewicz [26], a student, stated:
"I wanted to take some photos of the Moon eclipse that took place at that night from 4th to 5th of May."
"I'm an amateur photographer. I applied a digital camera - Fuji S 602. I set the camera on the tripod on the balcony of a 4th level flat located on Broniewski Street. I also noticed that in the contrary to the Moon, the Rzeszow Old City was better visible so I decided to take several photos."
"When I downloaded the files from the camera to my PC I and watched the photo, I saw something that made me curious and excited. That 'thing' was located at low altitude between the monument of Revolutionary Combat and St. Bernard's Order Church."
"On the enlarged image something resembling a toy - exactly a top is visible."

The presented photo was taken by Bogdan Gesicki over Garbno on May 29th 2006. No other information. It probably shows a possible chance UFO.

POLAND: UFO taped over Wawelno [23/01/04]

Wawelno [woj.Opolskie], January 23rd 2004.

22-year-old Malgorzata Tudyka from Wawelno - a student of Opole University, preparing to her exams for a while left her books and looked by window to see a strange light outside. UFO that she saw was about 1 m. long. There was a black point clearly visible in the frontal part of it. It was flying slowly at about 300 m. attitude [1000 f.]. There are speculations that the object filmed was a bolid or just a plane but according to information obtained from a local radio, there were other reports about unidentified lights in the area.It wasn't the first UFO sighting in Wawelno. 20 year ago the witness' father witnessed a similar event.

The presented photo was taken in Kazimierz Dolny [woj.Lubelskie, 4000 inhabitants], probably in 2004 [exact date unknown]. It shows an unidentified object over Kazimierz castle. No other information.
